What people keep
Exceptions, approvals over the line, owner relationships, guest recovery that needs judgment, and the strategy of the portfolio.
How it works
You don’t build the rulebook from scratch. Onboarding starts from a standard intent tree of hospitality patterns, picked to fit the company you describe. You customize what you do differently, usually in a few minutes. After that, Genie matches each new message to that tree, and people stay on the exceptions.
Exceptions, approvals over the line, owner relationships, guest recovery that needs judgment, and the strategy of the portfolio.
The repetitive middle: understanding a message, applying the rule, creating the task, offering the approved upsell, and explaining the reservation money.
01
Connect your PMS or channel manager and the operational systems around it. Genie sits above the stack you already pay for.
02
Start from a standard intent tree of the patterns hospitality already runs. Change only what your company does differently. That pass is meant to take a few minutes.
03
Genie manages approved communication, workflows, tasks, transactions, and exceptions. People keep the rest.
Enterprise teams don’t have to flip the whole company to autonomous on day one. Set the mode at the company, a department, a workflow, or a single policy.
Policy · Autopilot
Genie executes inside the policies you configured. Exceptions still come to a human.
Example: refunds under $100 execute. Refunds over $100 stay on Copilot.
Airbnb · Villa Sol
The AC isn’t working.
Resolved inside policy. A refund was not invented.
Human in the loop
Onboarding starts from a template of the patterns hospitality already runs, chosen from how you describe the company. You can rewrite any branch. A new message is read for its intent and matched to that tree. The tone, the resolution, and the action are the ones you already set. If an intent is missing, our team expands the tree. Human support sits over it.
Sample refund request
In this sample the stay is inside the eligible window and the reason is on the approved list. Move either control. The branch should change. Genie does not pick the number.
Guest requests a refund
Sample request: $80.
Check reservation conditions
Sample stay is inside the eligible window.
Check the reason
Sample reason is on the operator’s approved list.
Check operator policy
The line in this sample is $100.
Under $100
Automatically resolve
Genie completes the refund and writes the reason down.
$100 or more
Request manager approval
Genie prepares the case. A person decides.
$80 is under the line, so this sample resolves on its own.
If the stay or the reason had failed the rule, the path would stop or escalate instead of paying. This control is illustrative. It is not connected to a live policy engine.
